Bearass is the brain child of my friend and dreamer Fletcher Youngblutt. During my time at Boyden & Youngblutt, I have been working steadily to build this brand visually to not just look like another boring swimwear brand but a celebration of adventure for active women of all walks of life.

Bearass is designed as a bikini built for adventure — versatile enough to wear under clothing and through almost any activity. To communicate that spirit, I incorporated a range of outdoor environments and elements of exploration into the visual identity, positioning Bearass as more than just a bikini for the beach.

As a start up with a very slim team, we needed to maximize our materials from photoshoots. I used AI image editing mixed with good ol' photoshop to expand our base studio photography. The key was to not lean too heavily on the AI and to tame the amount of slop with photoshop.
