Description:

One of the largest tradeshow projects I've led: Veolia North America's booth at the 2023 National League of Cities. As Blue Pony's only creative, I designed and animated the entire experience and was the point person on every client call, working directly with Veolia's head of marketing and lead designer to keep everything on brand. The scope included looping animations for 15-foot freeform LED walls, video content for Veolia's water, energy, and waste divisions, and a custom touchscreen app designed for content exploration and lead capture.

[ Division Videos ]

Description:

The booth was split into three zones, one each for Veolia's water, energy, and waste divisions, and each zone got its own video. I branded each one with specific colors from Veolia's full palette and edited it to fit the custom-shaped vertical LED wall above its section, so every division was easy to tell apart from across the floor. I then adapted all three into 16:9 versions for monitors around the booth, where they doubled as looping home screens for the touchscreens. Visitors could tap in to explore resources for that division, and leave their contact info along the way.

[ Touchscreen app ]

Description:

The centerpiece was a custom Veolia-branded touchscreen app that gave city leaders quick access to hundreds of case studies, testimonials, and resources. Visitors could explore on-site and instantly email materials to themselves, a seamless experience that also captured qualified leads. I worked directly with an outside development partner, guiding the design direction and UI/UX. The app ran on a large screen in a custom display case front and center in the booth, and I adapted it for the wall-mounted screens around the perimeter.

Outcome

[ resourcing the world ]

Description:

This was one of the most collaborative, high-stakes, high-intensity projects I've ever been part of: one of the biggest booths at one of the largest tradeshows we worked. Pulling it off took constant back-and-forth with Veolia's marketing team and our development partner, plus a lot of late nights getting every video and screen coordinated and running on a tight timeline. The booth captured hundreds of qualified leads, and Veolia was thrilled with the results. I'm still proud of what we built together.
